This necklace was made by pressing a large cicada wing into argentium silver, then curling the wing around a large faceted labradorite. I have given the silver a patina and a satin finish.
• The faceted labradorite is 5mm in diameter.
• This pendant is just over 1 1/2" long by 1/2" wide.
• The sterling silver 1.1mm thick box chain is 18" long. Other chain lengths are available upon request, although the style and weight may differ.
• This piece (excluding the chain) was made entirely by hand in my home studio with sterling and fine silver.
