Orbicular Jasper and Prasiolite Hollow Form Necklace
Orbicular jasper from West Java is set on top of a hollow form, the edges of which curve around a very large concave-cut prasiolite suspended below. On the back is the imprint of an oak leaf. I have given the silver a dark patina and a matte finish with some shiny highlights.
• The natural Indonesian orbicular jasper is approximately 26mm x 11mm.
• The prasiolite, or green amethyst, is a stunning 19mm x 13mm. It has been faceted with a fantasy concave cut. Please note: Prasiolite is amethyst that has been heat-treated to change the color.
• The pendant is approximately 2 1/8" tall by 1 1/8" wide.
• The heavy 1.55mm rounded box chain is 18" long. Other chain lengths (in a smooth box link) are available upon request.
• This piece is handmade entirely with sterling silver and fine silver.
