A step-cut slice of a hexagonal ruby crystal is set in a simple bezel. The back has a diagonal bark texture. I have given the silver a patina and a bright matte finish.
• The natural ruby slice is about 32mm x 8mm. The ruby has a purple tint and some chatoyancy.
